In this Music Video, the Queensland Sadies get all radical in response to the Australian government's latest attempt to throw environmental activists and terrorists in the same bag. #freekaren!

SHINE A LIGHT (For The NSW North West)

Inspired by Dorothea Mackellar's poem My Country and Luke Vassella created Shine a Light as a rallying cry for communities facing invasive mining on prime agricultural land in the Liverpool Plains and across Australia.

We don't need no Coal Monsters!

The LPP community have spent $750,000 fighting this madness so far! There are more battles to come before we can save our water and precious Ag land – for more information on how you can add your support, visit: and help us win this fight.
– On Friday 21 August 2015 Liverpool Plains Youth and supporters drove a convoy of tractors through threatened prime agricultural land from near Gunnedah in NSW to Breeza, close to the proposed Shenhua mega-coal mine. Independent Tasmanian Senator Jacqui Lambie and Jeremy Buckingham MLC from the NSW Greens were also present. The message was simple: protect the Liverpool Plains!

Congrats to Cloudcatcher filmmaker David Lowe  – Writer, Director, Editor and Producer, in collaboration with Producer Kezia Geddes, Curator for the Lismore Regional Gallery

Megan Kuhn Without wonderful people like David Lowe and Eve Jeffery, that heartbeat from communities would remain unheard. Thank you for your vital input in letting others hear it with their own ears and see the truth.

– Megan Kuhn, North West Alliance

This is a short video that David edited featuring Traditional Owners from the communities of Maningrida and Borroloola in the Northern Territory.

Community groups, landholders and Traditional Owners across the NT have formed the Frack Free NT Alliance to work together to protect land, water and communities from fracking.

David Lowe filmed, directed and edited this awesome piece commissioned by Sea Shepherd –

Eve hopped on board with still photography and mad editing skillz…

This clip features multiple Golden Guitar winner Luke O'Shea and his father Rick z
who were arrested on the banks of the Namoi River on the day after Australia Day, 2015.

Here's why…

We caught Fiona Dell at her recent Come Home album launch – we created 4 clips from the night

David and Eve spent a great evening with  Ash Grunwald at the SoundLounge and got two great clips from the show

David filmed this moving clip for Luke Vassella, GENTLY BENTLEY

Cloudcatchers David, Duncan, Eve and Luke created the Voices from Gloucester series for

Groundswell Gloucester & Lock the Gate

our videos are mostly edited using 100% solar power

'I feel that it is a very powerful video that captures the essence of what we are fighting for…

I defy anyone (other than a coal head) to watch that video and not be moved into wanting to stop the mine, and that is what we wanted.'

– John Hamparsum, Breeza

'This Cloudcatcher film captures the plight of farming families on the Liverpool Plains.'

– Bob Brown

More than 90% of the Territory is covered by gas exploration licenses and applications and the NT Government is actively promoting and supporting the roll out of the shale gas industry. No shale gas production has commenced yet, but shale gas exploration includes fracking processes.

In this film David Lowe compiles footage from several sources and makes something awesome

Muzz Drechsler and his friend Dubi have been on the ground trying to protect
Leard State Forest in NSW Australia from being destroyed for over 1,000 days.
But what has Dubi taught Muzz?

In the lead up to the 2015 NSW election, we filmed North West NSW residents are speaking up about the threat of coal seam gas fields and large new open cut coal mines

Produced by Cloudcatcher Media for North West Alliance. Shot and edited by Cloudcatchers  Eve Jeffery and David Lowe.

Music by Luke Vassella.

'The BYS is in major financial crisis due to massive government funding cuts. Eve and David from Cloudcatcher Media have gone above and beyond making a crowd funding movie to hopefully help save us. Not only did they do it for a remarkably generous fee but it is outstandingly professional, emotive and captures beautifully what goes on at the Mullumbimby Cottage.
I, and the rest of the BYS team, are enormously grateful for their work, for their generosity of spirit, their humour, cleverness and creativity. They are part of what makes this shire unique, they understand and do all they can to support worthy causes in the most original and honest of ways.
